I am a freelance writer/designer/stay at home mom with two kids who adores anything creative.

About me ? Hmmm.. Okay..I never have enough hours in the day ... I can never get enough sunshine....I am definitely a warm weather person..Hate the winter and the cold...I argue constantly with my pc , printer and scanner - much less with my mac - love my mac ...Converted about 2 years back and am in love ..................

Love Starbucks mocha frappucino and proper chai tea.. Adore books and film..Good films.. I hate your average hollywood film, although I admit to liking the second Bridget Jones !!!
I adore Edddie Izzard and Jon Stewart ...I am fascinated by religion and politics and by what drives society and people to do what they do...

I have always loved to take photographs, right from my very frst camera at age 11, given to my by my grandmother to my best friend my Canon Digi today...I have very little in the way of formal training..Just a lot of practice over the years and a desire to freeze moments of time with my camera.....
I like to take pictures in natural light wherever possible, as this suits my style best...Natural and free spirited...I love to capture glimpses of children's personalities and snapshots of ordinary life forever.....
I also tend to take a lot of black and white as I love the way it allows the subject to shine through without the distraction of colour.....

Music is another passion..
all kinds..and I really am emotionally attched to my ipod....
Began rubberstamping while living in the usa about seven years ago, progressed to making cards, made a friend a scrapbook as a birthday present and then got a page published and kind of never looked back.....
Now I feel I am returning to my roots with altered art - I did textile design, ceramics and design at school and silk screen printing and more ceramics at college.....(At Uni I did Feminism and English Lit..........)

Love Altered Art...Love the 3 dimensional playful aspect!! I also have a thing for the dreaded " J word" (journalling) and papers and ink...so I guess I am a real cross over mixed media artist!!.
I have also done Mosaic,Batik,Ceramic painting, Ceramic , Soap and Candle making and and Art classes for children ...

OK enough ???

If I had three wishes ?
They would be for...

Happiness for my whole family
Financial security for my family enabling us to be free from the constraints of time ..
(I have a big issue with Time .....)
The third?
Fulfillment for us all......

I know - no good health .. no lottery wins in there..!!!!!!!!!!
I believe there is nothing better than a happy fulfilled life...........However long it may be.
